If you haven’t noticed already (and if you haven’t, then I strongly suggest you go see a doctor), AnalogHype looks completely different than it did before. It’s still the same site (for the most part) with the same crew that’s always been behind the scenes (check The Crew page at the top), so don’t be alarmed at this change.
Unfortunately, the side effects of moving to a new platform meant that some of our features had to be sacrificed. Don’t look now, but the forums and the community are absent. We’re working to implement new community-enabled components soon, so please bare with us while we try to restore this functionality. An archive of our old site has been made, which can be accessed by clicking the link at the top that says AH Classic. The archive is just that, and as such it will no longer be active and maintained. For all of the latest news, podcasts, videos, features, and more original content, you’ll want to get settled in right here.
Here are a few things you should know regarding your experience on our new site:
- You can log in to comment currently using a Twitter account via Twitter Connect, or by filling out the comment form at the end of each post. We’ll be bringing Facebook Connect and an on-site registration/login option very soon. If you opt to use the native comment form, you’ll need to sign up for an account at Gravatar with the email address that you use to comment in order to have an avatar appear wherever your comments do.
- None of the old articles and posts, as well as any associated comments, transferred over. All of the old material can be accessed at AH Classic (the link can also be found at the top navigation bar).
- We now have a mobile version of the site for those of you who may want to check up on the latest from our crew on the go. The mobile site is optimized for capacitive touchscreen phones such as the iPhone. The option to view the mobile or desktop version of the site is all yours. When visiting the site, depending on your phone’s web browser, you’ll automatically be greeted with a site formatted for easy viewing and accessibility. To turn it off, scroll all the way to the bottom and press the mobile view switch.
- Last but not least, you’ll need to update your feed. The new feed can be accessed simply by adding by adding http://www.analoghype.com/feed/ to your feed reader/news aggregator of choice.
We hope you guys enjoy the new site. If there are any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the changes, don’t hesitate to hit us up using the contact form (also found on the navigation bar).

Также скажу спасибо за обзор. Весьма интересно, сейчас даже подумываю после сдачи проекта возродить работу над одной соц. сетью, опираясь на данные из Вашей статьи.
