Microsoft appears to already be in the Hanukkah/Christmas spirit.  They are launching their Xbox LIVE Rewards program.  Select gamers will receive email invitations to join the Xbox Live Rewards pilot program.  The whole thing is managed by a group simply known as “Xbox Live Rewards Squad”.  You can go to the Reward Squad Page over on Xbox.com for more information.  There are three levels for the Pilot program dubbed Gray, Green, and Orange. These images give each levels’ benefits:

From what I can tell, this is purely beneficial for gamers.  I just wonder how they are going to be deciding who gets into the program.  Is there a set of criteria gamers must meet to get invited?  The rewards for renewing your Xbox Live Gold membership are a nice touch as well.  We will have more on this as it becomes available.
