Having one of the biggest games (as far as online activity goes) doesn’t always spell happy days. The more people that play your game, the more people will find and exploit game-breaking bugs that ruin the experience for everyone else. Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 has been plagued by bugs since the game’s launch, and new glitches are popping up each and every day. At least we know Infinity Ward isn’t sleeping, though, as Robert Bowling recently confirmed to Game Informer that the [Xbox 360] patch has been sent into Microsoft for certification.
Here’s what you can expect to be fixed in the latest update:
It’s worthy to note that players on both the PC and PS3 have already received this patch last month. The downside of Microsoft’s certification program is that crucial fixes like these can’t get to the games fast enough, and you may lose loyal fans of your game before it’s too late. I know there have been countless times where I completely stopped playing the game for long stretches of time, but I’ve personally had the resiliency to go back to the game after the patch when all of the nonsense has been fixed.
