Bloody hell! That’s the sound of the many people not being able to connect to EA servers. Battlefield Bad Company 2 made its debut this past week but it was filled with server issues and ranking resets. Even with all the problems Battlefield Bad Company 2 was still able to take the #1 spot in the UK from last weeks champ, Heavy Rain. Heavy Rain dropped down to the 4th place spot and breakout hit Just Dance and Alien vs Predator take the #2 and #3 spot. Check out the full list.

Terrence was right that Heavy Rain would hold steady sales in Europe/UK as this type of game is more popular in that region than the USA. Interestingly, Forza3 and A.Creed2 are still managing notable sales. And then there is Just Dance… which defies the couch playing stereotype and must have a nice production cost to profit ratio. meaticus(Quote)

Early word is Heavy Rain sold 500,000 units in the first week. I believe that’s is globally. I bought a copy, nice change of pace from fragging and hope to see more of this style of mature adventure gaming in the future. meaticus(Quote)

Yea I just finished Heavy Rain and I must say quality game. With that FF XIII and God of War I should be content for a while. Marcus L(Quote)
