Battlefield 3 Strats: LAV/MBT and Operation Metro Commentaries from iCoNiC Wallee

With the final DLC for Battlefield 3 officially set to release across all formats the next two weeks, it’s time to step your Battlefield game up. One of my favorite people to play Battlefield with is iConic Wallee, a big time streamer on Twitch.tv that we here at Analog Hype very openly support. Wallee has logged thousands of hours into the Battlefield franchise and he’s got some pretty awesome tips and tricks he’s decided to share in a series of commentary videos he’s started. His first two commentaries are out now, and you’ll be able to check them out below. If you have any Battlefield related questions, definitely leave us a comment below and we will try to pass them Wallee’s way.

Operation Metro Commentary – As any Battlefield player knows, Operation Metro is by far and away the most popular map in Battlefield 3. I never thought I would get to a point where I was more interested in playing ground maps than I was tanking, but Operation Metro definitely grew on me and I’ve learned a lot both playing with Wallee and watching him on his stream. It’s never too late to learn some good Metro strats, so for his first commentary, check out some tips on how to survive Operation Metro:

LAV/MBT Commentary – I’ve been tanking with Wallee since Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and believe me when I say it: he’s being modest when he says he’s not great in the heavy tank. I agree completely when he says having a good tank crew is the most important part of tanking, as I can’t tell you how many times I’ve personally gone solo or had an idiot in my gunner seat that doesn’t communicate and doesn’t know what to do. I don’t play Tehran Highway much anymore, but this is definitely one of the major tanking maps in the game and there is a ton of great info here.

If you like what you see, make sure you check out Wallee on his Twitch.tv channel and subscribe to the iCoNic Media Group on YouTube. It looks like he’ll have more videos coming soon, so we’ll make sure to pass them along. Look for tons of Battlefield 3: End Game coverage starting this Tuesday March 5th once it is released on Playstation 3.
