Shoe heads were going crazy trying to get there hands on the Air Yezzy 2. The Yeezy’s did jump over the jump man but you can still get a pair for yourself in NBA 2k13. Follow my video and you can look as fly as me in NBA 2K13 with some fresh Air Yezzy 2’s. Let me know what shoes you want me to do in the next video.
Its that time! Complex hosted the Art of the Heist contest in honor of the upcoming film Parker, starring Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez. They called on artists everywhere to send in their custom Parker-inspired artwork for a chance at the ultimate grand prize — a trip to Los Angeles to see their artwork painted as a mural for all of Hollywood to see.
The top 10 finalists have been picked and are on deck for YOU to select the winner. You have until December 14th to vote on the winner. Head to http://www.complex.com/
Its your birthday! 2 Chainz is everywhere! I haven’t gone a day without using a 2 Chainz adlib at least once or twice. 2 Chainz now has his own retro style video game called Live in Color. 2 Chainz has to get a pair of Adicolors for his concert so you have to help navigate the duffel bag boy to the store and arena. Check out the game below and make sure to tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend!
So your a level 50 Thief in Guild Wars 2? Beat Legend of Zelda in 2 hours without breaking a sweet? Congrats but I highly doubt you know how to act in a club. In fact I’ll go ahead and confirm that you don’t know how to act in the club. I’ve been to way too many video game parties at clubs for E3 or PAX and seen club styles with swag levels in the negatives. No matter what club your at make sure to follow the advice from Bud Light Platinum Lifestyle. Check out how you should act in the club and #makeitplatinum here.
While walking the streets of Soho, I came across a very interesting furniture store. A division of Crate & Barrel, CB2 is a modern furniture store geared toward those who live in everything from houses to smaller studio apartments. Think of an Ikea- but for hipsters. Besides the usual fare of sofas, tables, and chairs, there’s also other items like speakers, turntables, and desks with hidden compartments for those who refuse to see clutter. (more…)
Fun, crazy and loved by fans Street Fighter producer, Yoshinori Ono, was rushed to a hospital after collapsing at a Street Fighter X Tekken event in South Korea. Capcom’s Street Fighter blog states, “Immediately after a Street Fighter X Tekken event in Asia, the physical condition of Street Fighter X Tekken producer OnoChin rapidly deteriorated, and he collapsed… He was taken to the hospital, and he is currently not coming into work.”
Capcom did also mention that it did not seem to be serious, however Tekken producer, Katsuhiro Harada, had this to say on his Twitter account yesterday: ‘Not hospital now. I talked with him. He says “I’m OK”. But He doesn’t seem to be “OK”, in my opinion.’
We all hope for a speedy recovery. If you’d like to, you can wish him well on his Twitter account.
In the past few years, being geeky or a nerd has become something to be proud of; even trendy. With shows like “The Big Bang Theory” and “Game of Thrones” as well as movies like the famous “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and recently, “The Hunger Games,” hiding your love for fantasy and video games is no longer the norm.
There are all kinds of ways to display your interests through your clothing choices, accessories like coffee mugs, lunch boxes or patches and stickers on almost anything. Since tattoos can be found on any stereotype, it is no surprise that there are many awesome, geeky tattoos that can be found anywhere; especially the Internet. Granted, there can be poorly done or distasteful tattoos of anything, even the geeky ones, so it frustrates me when I see articles or images floating around of “Horrible Nerd Tattoos.”
Tattoos should reflect who you are, what your interests are, or at the very least, something that you think looks cool. I would not recommend going into a random tattoo shop when you’re wasted and getting Han Solo’s face on your chest, but at the same time, if that’s the kind of crazy person you are, then I suppose it suits you. I, myself, am sporting a large Star Wars tattoo (seen below). The point I want to make is that even if you are not a nerd, there are many amazing geek tattoos all over the place. Just remember to look beyond the “Geekiest Tattoo” articles and picture posts.
