So its around that time that hockey fans are waiting for. Last week, I sat in on the 2K Sports developer call for NHL 2K10. They gave away a plethora of information and even answered questions from the press. Read on for some key points from the call and screenshots.
Spokespeople: Ben Bishop (Producer) -Gameplay and Presentation recieved the biggest boost. Areans, intros, Player Likeness were all redone. -2K9 was rushed. Having to incorporate the Wii version was a major factor in this. -The Game Pace was slowed down for the sake of realism -Fans can expect regular roster updates -User Feedback implemented drastically. Backwards skating improved, passing mechincs, gameplay camera, create-a-team mode, and wii controls were all improved. -Users can share slidders -Glass can NOT break this year -Miis usable in the Wii version -Wii version to have almost every mode that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions do and more -Online leagues will have websites on 2K Sports' site. Also on the site will be online replays, stat tracking, and uploading offline franchise information. -NO injuries in online league play. -Wii version to take advantage of Wii MotionPlus. -NO Winter Olympics And now for some Screenshots:
These screenshots have caught my attention. Hockey fans should be on the look out for this game in a couple weeks. You can expect a great in depth review from yours truely as well. Be sure to check back here for any updates or news.
