If you haven't picked up the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, your missing out on alot of games. Many of which can be found in the Sega Vintage Collection. Every game except Gunstar Heroes can be found on the Ultimate collection disc. Playing these games brought me back to the days of getting my haircut with my cousins while fighting over who got next on Comix Zone. Lets see if these games live up to its history.

After months of bashing Ninja Blade and its complete resemblance to Ninja Gaiden, I finally imported Ninja Blade via PlayAsia and gave it a test run. After fully emerging myself in the ninja world, I've returned with surprising results.

"So, there I was on a Friday night. Hanging out on the reservation and watching over my girlfriend, who's the hot bartender at her own bar. These two truckers, who have been pounding back beers for an hour, start hitting on my girlfriend and getting out of line. I bashed their faces flat with a pipe wrench. Luckily, I forgot to put it away last time I fixed the leaking sink.
Not a second later, the lights in the whole place turn off. A bright green glow starts shining through the windows from outside; Jen's scared crap ducking under the bar. No one knows what's going on. I mean, I was a part of the U.S Army and been through some crazy crap, but this was weird.
The jukebox somehow turns on. No electricity to the building at this moment….but it starts playing “Don’t Fear the Reaper “by The Blue Oyster Cult; meanwhile the roof of the bar flings off into pieces of debris.
I know this is Oklahoma, but it was no tornado.
It was a damn alien spaceship; and it sucked us right up into it. Jen, Grandpa, Me, and a bunch of things from the bar….Hard to believe, I know, but that's only the beginning. "

Finally, after a few years of playing Halo first peron shooters, we finally get the product that Halo was originally scheduled to be. When Halo: Combat Evolved was first thought up, it was supposed to be made into a real time strategy game, but we all know that ship sailed away a long time ago. So we got stuck with Halo, one of the most popular first person shooters of all time (although I do think it was a good trade off).

When I first heard that Lips was being made, I held back my excitement: we’d already gotten karoake fun in the forms of Rock Band and SingStar, and Lips didn’t seem to add anything new to the table. More details emerged about the game, such as the ability to sing along to your own songs and the fact that it’d launch with wireless microphones for the Xbox 360. Immediately that caught my attention and Lips was on my radar.

I’m not the world’s biggest Zombie fanatic, but when it comes to defending your life and helping to defend those of your friends in a post-apocolyptic zombie-infested world, I’ve got no other care in the world than to be there. Left 4 Dead is a game that has helped me fill that void in my life since the none too distant days of playing Dead Rising for the Xbox 360 (I’m sorry, but terrible Resident Evil movies just aren’t cutting it for me). |

Every once in a while we get hit with those games that are made to give us a break from the constant stream of gaming behemoths. I for sure don’t fancy chainsawing butt-ugly locusts everytime I jump onto my Xbox, so I welcome these games with open arms. A Kingdom For Keflings is one of those games and I really do think it’s worth your time. |

Epic Games is one of those companies that is just known for its quality. They sit right up there with Ubisoft and Valve, and continue to impress with (nearly) each game they’ve had a hand in (I just won’t mention Unreal Tournament 3). Thus far, the fall and winter months have proved very fruitful for gamers, with heavy hitters such as Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, and more gracing our optical drives. Enter the next Apollonian God of the video games realm: Gears of War 2. |
