Wondercon 2012 Going On This Weekend
Going on right now, this weekend, is San Diego Comic-Con’s little sister, Wondercon. This year, it is being hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center, in Anaheim, CA until 5:00pm (PST) Sunday evening. In typical Con fashion, you can either purchase a 3-Day badge or a 1-Day badge, but if you are just reading about this now and are thinking of going, naturally, I would suggest going with a 1-Day badge at only $25.

If you’re looking for something to do that’s not in relation to St. Patrick’s Day, stopping by Wondercon to check out the booths, guest speakers and Cosplay might be one heck of fun weekend for you. One of the highlights at this year’s Wondercon is the premiere of “Superman vs. The Elite, “ a PG-13 film series based on Action Comics issue #775 “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?” Another highlight is the unveiling of Marvel’s new miniseries “Space: Punisher.” And it is exactly how it is titled: the Punisher, in space. If that doesn’t sound awesome, I don’t know what does. It’s announcements like these as well as filmmakers for the upcoming new “Spider-Man” movie making an appearance to help address concern from fans that make Wondercon a must visit place for any geek in the southern California area.
