Everybody has a tradition when it comes down to Thanksgiving. Some people play football outside and watch the football game on TV, some people like to drink until Black Friday. My Thanksgiving tradition seems to be the ultimate gamer Thanksgiving tradition. Every year I travel from house to house devouring food and inhaling drinks. At the end of each feast, I pull out the Nintendo 64 for some classic multiplayer goodness. From Smash Bros to Mario Kart, losers get shot with Nerf guns. Rinse and repeat! We would love to hear what your Thanksgiving tradition looks like. Drop us a comment! #MyKindOfHoliday read more…
Avast there matey! The world of Assassin’s Creed is being taken over by pirates, and with the Xbox One finally launching in less than 48 hours, I am absolutely stoked that I will finally be able to get in on the action. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is actually a prequel of sorts to the events of Assassin’s Creed III and features a new protagonist in Edward Kenway. If that name sounds familiar, it is because he is the father of Assassin’s Creed III’s antagonist Hatham Kenway, which of course makes him the grand father of our hero Connor. It’s a little weird going backwards, but when has Assassin’s Creed ever been truly conventional?

IF I WAS EVER ON THE FENCE AS TO WHETHER I WAS GOING TO BUY THIS GAME, I AM OFFICIALLY OFF IT NOW! Why am I yelling? Oh, zombies. Lots of zombies. But wait. Doesn’t that mean I should be quiet? Probably. Where was I? Oh yeah, as you’ll see in the video after the break, you can unlock a Mega Man costume in Dead Rising 3. You know, it’s Capcom and all that, after-all. You have to beat the game to unlock it, so there’s always that. But still. Look at how beast this bad boy is? Dead Rising 3 is set to be released on the Xbox One November 22nd.
As Jessey informed everyone yesterday, the Playstation App is officially love on iOS and Google Play, and it’s about time. There is no doubt that this will be a constantly evolving App, and just getting it out in advance of Friday’s launch of the Playstation 4 is a huge accomplishment. For now, it is pretty bare-bones, though still a great companion to the actual Playstation Network. Users can now log-in and send messages, see who is online, take a look at trophies, with many other features still to come. It looks like it will also have a Smartglass-type of way to connect with the Playstation 4 to add some second screen features. The App allows you to do about as much as the Xbox Smartglass App lets you do at it’s core, but it is not nearly as intuitive and just doesn’t have the extra features quite yet. With that said, if you’re a Playstation owner, you need to have this App. Like I said, it is going to be a constantly evolving piece of the puzzle and it will definitely get better from here.
I had a hard time finding it in the App Store on iOS, so you can click here to download and make it easier for yourself. Android users can snag it from the Google Play store here. There are a bunch of pictures of the App in use on iOS after the break.
With just under 30 minutes to go until the majority of the PS4′s launch game reviews go live, Arekkz Gaming has posted a video of the PS4′s User Interface. In this video, we’re given a glimpse at the system’s PlayStation Store, Share feature, Apps, and Browser. It’s safe to say that the UI is fast and fluid.
The PlayStation 4 will be available on November 15th in North America.
The iOS version is now available on the Apple App Store.
Sony’s PlayStation App can now be downloaded to your android device from the Google Play Store. The application is designed to let you view your profile, send and receive messages from PSN friends, view live streams, and more. The iOS version isn’t available just yet but we’ll be sure to update you when it goes live. For the time being, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
