Ubisoft has unveiled their new racing title, The Crew. The Crew is yet another game that touts its ability to create a seamless single player a multiplayer experience. Like Need For Speed: Rivals, events in The Crew can be played with friends regardless of what you’re doing. In the gameplay demo, we were shown tearing down the streets of New York. Another bit of gameplay gave us a glimpse of a trial in The Crew. The most impressive part of the demo was when all of this came together. A player racing in The Crew’s rendition of Miami invited his friends, turning his takedown mission, into a cooperative experience with no lobbies whatsoever.
After the demo was over, Aisha Tyler, the host of the conference, let us know that we will be able to customize our cars from our tablets if we want. This feature is reminiscent of last year’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier that allowed you to customize your guns from the Ghost Recon app on tablets and smartphones.
The Crew will be available early next year on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Today, EA pulled the wraps off a title we’ve all been waiting for, Mirror’s Edge. Faith returns in this reboot of the Mirror’s Edge franchise that gives us an all new origin story for Faith. With the recent announcement that Disney will be shoveling off the Star Wars gaming experience to EA and E3 just hours away, Star Wars fans worldwide are dreaming of what could be coming next for the franchise. DICE, Visceral Games and Bioware are going to be tasked with creating the next chapter in Star Wars gaming, and it’s safe to say anticipation is at an all time high. Before Disney closed down shop, Lucas Arts had been fast at work on at least two projects: Star Wars 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault. Both games looked like they had a lot of potential, with Star Wars 1313 winning tons of awards as one of the standout games of E3 just a short year ago. With the future of those two games are very much in doubt, it’s time to dream ahead to what the future of Star Wars gaming may have in store. Below you will find the top 10 characters or factions I would love to see featured in a Star Wars video game. I decided to focus on characters instead of actual game titles, although a true Knights of the Old Replubic 3 is #1 on my list with a bullet. Enjoy.

Microsoft’s E3 2013 Press Conference ended on a high note with our first look at Respawn Entertainment’s “Titanfall.” The trailer shows off the game’s multiplayer mode, complete with FPS combat, and mechs. After the press conference, Geoff Keighley took things back stage to discuss Titanfall with Respawn Entertainment. One of the things we learned is that the mechs shown in the gameplay footage are exclusive to each player. This means that when you summon your mech, only you can use it. Players cannot steal each others mechs.

Titanfall, a multiplayer exclusive game, will be available next Spring on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
On GameTrailer’s E3 converage, Mark Cerny joined Geoff Keighley with some new gameplay of Knack. The short snippet of gameplay showcased Knack fighting goblins in an ice environment. When Knack got hit, his ice armor would fall off, revealing another set of armor just after his base form. Mark Cerny elaborated upon Knack’s powers, stating that if you have the ice armor on and go into a sunny environment, the ice will begin to melt.
So far, Knack is looking pretty interesting. We’ll have more on Knack during Sony’s E3 Press Conference where they’ll be showing some mini levels to demonstrate the variety you’ll find within the world of Knack.
We’ll have the gameplay of Knack just as soon as it’s made available.
Destiny of Spirits, a game we saw trademarked a few months back, has been announce for the PlayStation Vita. Destiny of Spirits will be a free-to-play RPG. From the looks of it, there will be an upgrade system, as well as daily challenges for players to complete. Destiny of Spirits is being developed by Q Entertainment and SCE Japan Studios exclusively for the Vita.

Early! Xbox updated their Youtube channel with a brand new header. “Reserve your day one edition today” What will come with the day one edition of the Xbox One? Is this just a big typo? Stay tuned as we await more information from E3.

Mobile games dropping trailers at E3 too! The king of mobile games, Gameloft has a new trailer for the new Modern Combat 5. The fifth installation of the Modern Combat series. More action, more guns and it looks damn good for a mobile game. Look for it on Android and iOS.

Lets kick off the E3 festivities with a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated Ubisoft game Watch Dogs. Check out how Chicago turns into a weapon to take out unsuspecting enemies in Watch Dogs. My hype level is through the roof with this one ladies and gentlemen!

Throughout the years, AnalogHype has experienced E3 in different ways. We’ve been hit with music every year we’ve been to E3 and its an important aspect of the yearly event. Music sets the tone of the conferences and leave us with remarkable memes like Usher’s Dance Central performance. What you’re about to experience is the music of E3 through AnalogHype’s eyes. Enjoy!
Thief IV is fast approaching and Square Enix has unleashed their E3 2013 trailer and it shows off the games protagonist Garrett. At one point, I believe they were calling it Thief IV, but now it looks like the IV has been dropped and they are simply going with Thief. I’m still calling it Thief IV, though, because… OK I’ll start calling it Thief. Keep your good eye on Garrett, because he’s been known to have a case of the sticky fingers. There is no release date as of yet, but the game is expected to be released on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. Check out the trailer after the break.
