the whole thing was suppose to be about new tech for this year y wud sony spend a bunch of time talkn about the games that everyone already knos is comin this yr instead of there new teck like the 3d tvs n such? im sure everyone wud want a huge expensive tv to play there 360 on but im sure it wudnt make a difference compared to the graphics of the trey.

I meant graphically, the quality of the games will not get better (I hope I am wrong), the best looking game on the 360 is Gears 2, hands down. Splinter Cell is a great looking game, but it doesn’t look better then Gears or even MASS EFFECT 2(yes I am a ME fanboy if you don’t like it suck my Krogan nuts)...
Like I said MS will be pushing Natal, cs that is what MS thinks is the future, look at Nintendo, why spend money to make your games look real good, when u can sale millions by making them cheap, and thats the model I think MS will be taking..so I stand by my statement that in terms of Graphical quality look to the PS3..
O AND EVERYBODY BUY MASS EFFECT 2..peace..and I don’t want to get into a comments argument I got way too many games to finish..

I'm only asking Terrance for his version of "quality". Whatever his reason, that's fine, just give one.
I know lol. Terence is lead to make such statements for the same reason you are making your statements. It's when we're being bias to one thing that someone comes to defend the other. I personally hate when PSN is hyped because I have faced nothing but problems with it on the games I've played. And it also seems PS3 exclusives are hyped to death.

I hear ya Zinc, 360 has a massive library of QUALITY games dropping this year. It was so big they had to share it on one of the biggest stages for technology, CES. Sony on the other hand would rather show you 3D TV and not share much about there gaming division. Shows where there hearts at.....

You made me turn my PC back on. Terrance, answer me this, how do you define "quality"? You said the 360 titles are basically tapped out & wont show anything considerably better? You're kidding right? You & others claim the PS3 has all of this "Quality" explain this please?
I'll tell you "quality" in a game is features. Splinter Cell:Conviction, multiple ways of beating an area vs. a linear way of beating a level in Uncharted 2: meaning exploration is at your hands in SC:C & U2 you do what the developer tells you to do.
Halo, co-op, forge, saved films, 4 player co-op all through the campaign: vehicles you drive or ride as a passenger, land or air vehicles, very large areas to fight in, large moving enemies (Scarab) that you can actually get on- walk through- fight creatures in- & blow up: what game on the PS3 can display this kind of variety & how I define "Quality"! Again, how do you define "Quality"?
Also, someone mentioned the PS3 2010 line-up is hit after hit with The Last Guardian being a system seller?! What? How is this possible when ICO & Shadow of The Colossus didn't sell to the developers parents, they didn't even want the game their kids made. No one is going to buy this ICO game for the 3rd iteration consecutively.
Also, each 360 exclusive will sell 1million in under 4 weeks in the US alone, where the PS3 may have just 2 exclusives accomplish the same feat in under 4 weeks in the US.
I've given you guys enough, If you guys could, please give me a definition of the way you see quality? please, I'd love to hear it.
I'll continue listening as I get ready to call it a night, hope I don't hear anything else that will make me turn this PC back on.
For one, co-op does not equal quality. Throwing in the ability for another person to just play is a run of the mill addition. Building a campaign around co-op, where its not just an added player, would be quality. I have Halo 3; I have played Halo "co-op." There is no wow-factor about it. Gamers have been spoiled to think that every game that comes out must have co-op. Co-op is an addition - unless the game is built around co-op. It is not mandatory. That seems to be forgotten.
Two, saved films does not equal quality. Sports games has always had this feature. Does not make the games distinctive or striking.
Tres, Uncharted and Splinter Cell have two different aims. I did not hop on the Splinter Cell train late; I have been playing it since Day 1. There is multiple ways of getting around enemies or killing them (only because of the different equipment), but there is still one goal on each mission. That is what you would expect out of a game like Splinter Cell. That is a tough comparison right there.
Fourth, I believe Terrance said graphically. Which is unfortunately true. Had nothing to do with this quality rant you were going on. But my memory could be wrong.
Fifth, the Last Guardian comment was sarcasm. I'm not surprised that it didn't sell to the developer's parents, seeing as their parents are either dead or playing chess in a nursing home. In reality, I can tell you haven't played the game, because you would know that those games equaled quality. Anybody who has played the first two knows that those games were outstanding in three key factors: gameplay, story, and graphics. Yes, they were slept on. Yes, the third will be slept on too. For the people who do buy it though, they will enjoy the hell out of the game more than halo (trust me on that one). No, the game is not a system seller. I sure as hell can tell you though that it should be.
Also, sales do not equal quality. I missed where putting up numbers make a game great.
Quality to me, simply is excellence. Coming from reading your post, quality is nothing but poorly made features and add-ons.
Please, turn your PC back on. Respond to me with sales and how old ass games had co-op; I really won't even consider it a rebuttal.
Lastly, Krome you are such an xbot for that comment however many replies down. Adding your PSN ID after does not cancel out your xbox fanboyism.
If it matters, I own a Xbox and not a PS3 :/
