Bioshock 2 DLC Was Already On The Disc? Really?
The gaming community has alot to say about DLC on disc, especially with Bioshock 2 DLC. The uproar from the community lead to this response in the Bioshock 2 2k Forums.
"I noticed there was a bit of confusion about our Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack file size, and I wanted to clear things up for you. The way our engine and game structure works is that people need to have the exact same content for people to play together. One of the challenges with post launch content for MP is that it can spli...
Opening 10 Minutes of Bioshock 2 : 1st and Ten
And its finally here, Bioshock 2. I have personally read many reviews, and seen players' early responses to this game. A lot of people have already shared their opinions and the reception so far has been pretty mixed.. It's been called boring, that it just seems like it should be an expansion, and has also been called fun and amazing. BioShock 2 is going to be different to a lot of people, but I am loving it so far. Dante's Inferno is going to be placed on hold until this game is finished.

NBA 2K10 Scores 2 Million Sold Worldwide
The good folks at 2K Sports are definitely ballin' right about now. The 10th edition of NBA 2K has sold over 2 million units world wide. Through all the patches, glitches, and compliments, 2K Sports continues to work hard. Several critics said 2K10 was a copy/paste job of 2K9. We only know one copy/paster and that's Mike A. 2K10 made its place in gaming as the premiere basketball game on consoles. To keep things going, 2k Sports brought back Mike Wang as a producer. The addition of Wang should s...
2K Sports to Award One Million Dollars to First Person to Throw a Perfect Game in Major League Baseball 2K10
I love winning money from gaming. Smashing fools in Virtua Fighter and NBA 2k10 then they get all sensitive and don't want to talk to you ever again is also a great incentive. 2K Sports knows that gamers are competitive. That's probably why there giving away One million dollars to the first person to throw a perfect game in Major League Baseball 2k10. You heard right, a milli. Fans will be able to participate in the $1,000,000 Major League Baseball 2K10 contest beginning on March 2, 2010 at 12:0...

While I'm not a fan of DLC being announced before a game's launch, I'm sure the Bioshock fans out there may rejoice somewhat. Kent Hudson of 2k Martin stated that the company are planning to bring DLC after the games launch, however this will be without the aid of their Australian studio. “We are working on pretty aggressive plans for DLC and that’s actually something that is already underway. That is something that is mostly being run out of the Marin studio because like I said the Austra...

Borderlands Review
FPSs and RPGs are staple genres in gaming. They have been used over and over again. These genres have been used to the point of exhaustion. There are a few new IPs that are expanding and reinventing these genres. Enter Gearbox Software and 2K Games with the sleeper hit, Borderlands. This game successfully combines the two previously mentioned genres into one. Gearbox themselves call the game a RPS (role-playing shooter). The irony is, that is not the only thing that makes it uniq...
President of Gearbox questions Valves lack of PS3 support
Speaking with OPM in the UK, Randy Picthford has questions the motives behind the discussion not to support the PS3 by Vavle. Randy Picthford has worked with vavle in the past, and gave his opinion on the PS3 to the magazine. He states "the PS3 is awesome. I think Valve...I don't know why they are doing that. It's weird. but yeah, the Playstation platform's really cool. It's different to others and it's certainly a challenge to be able to develop software for. But that's where the fun is, righ...
