What a day at PAX East 2013. Saturday is traditionally the busiest day of the show, and this year was no exception. I dedicated the entire day to seeking out the best cosplayers in the show and snapped a ton of photos. It was such a pleasure to interact and mingle with everyone, and it was easy to see how much hard work went into the costumes. I was also excited to see a lot of Borderlands cosplay, including a bunch of characters I wouldn’t have expected. Awesome! Alright, you didn’t come here to see me writing a bunch of words, so let’s get right down to it.
I did a pretty cool video of one of the cosplay’s that caught my eye as it came in. It looked to be a robot, but as it turns out, there was someone inside. I’ve been told it was supposed to be Clockwork Droid from Dr. Who. Pretty cool video:

So we have an entire article planned specifically for cosplay, but Capcom had to go and do something ridiculous. Just this week, as part of their 30th Anniversary celebration, the company released an awesome HD version of the classic fighting franchise Darkstalkers called Darkstalkers Resurrection. So what better way to bring attention to the game then to have a few of the characters from the game spend the day destroying all challengers? So I’m trying really hard not to be a total guy about this, but you know, these are just some dirty tricks right here. You win, Capcom. You have my attention! And the attention of literally every-single-person that walked by your booth today. The reaction was like this “oh hey, they’re making Duck Ta… whoa.” The worst part? These girls came to play and as you will see in the video, the poor dude was just getting dominated. Morrigan is obvious, and then the one on the left is Q-Bee, but I can’t figure out who the one with the… white hair is. Darkstalkers Resurrection is available now.
