Warner Brothers has announced Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. (more…)
I mentioned last week that Nether Realm had announced that Zatanna would be the sixth downloadable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us, but we didn’t know when she would be getting released. Well… that was fast. Zatanna is available as of today and along with her comes Compatibility Pack #6, which gives players a free skin for Cyborg Superman. As I usually do, what better way to show off all the newness than to have them fight each other? Check out Zatanna vs. Cyborg Superman after the break. Also included after the break is the Single Battle ending for Zatanna in case you don’t feel like running through it yourself. Zatanna is available for 400 Microsoft Points, aka, $3. Cyborg Superman wouldn’t have been my first choice for a new skin, but he’s cool none-the-less and I understand that Superman is a money maker, so I don’t begrudge them for throwing him in here. Check it out.
So life has been crazy this past few weeks, and with my computer dying a few weeks ago and my absolute disdain for laptops, I’ve been taking it easy trying to figure out what to do in the PC department. With today’s announcement that Zatanna would be the 6th playable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us, I figured it might be a good idea to show everyone the 5th character that launched last week: Martian Manhunter. Along with Martian Manhunter came a compatibility pack that gave everyone, for free, a new skin for Green Lantern that allows players to play as John Stewart instead of Hal Jordan. So how about we have a little Martian Manhunter vs John Stewart battle, you say? I like the way you think. Check out the new characters in action after the break:
Well holy shit. A company that listens to their fans? Who knew? That seems to be exactly what Nether Realm seems to be doing after their first batch of DLC characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us was met with much resistance for everyone not named Lobo, and good for them. Last week they launched the most requested character as their fifth DLC character, Martian Manhunter, and today, Ed Boon announced on his Twitter that the 6th character will be another highly requested one : Zatanna. She was pretty high on my list of 10 characters I wanted to see added to Injustice, and after watching the trailer you will find after the break, you’ll see why. She is fantastic and everything I had hoped she could be. It looks like they hit this one out of the park. No release date yet, but Martian Manhunter hit about two weeks after he was announced, so that schedule would not surprise me. Check it out:
New series! In my journey to become the ultimate gamer, I face off against gamers of various skill sets. Today I face off against my sister @JiggyTime who is a notorious button masher. We battle it on some Injustice: Gods Among Us and this is the end results.
Let us know what game we should play next in the comments!
A new skin pack is available today for Injustice: Gods Among Us, and it features some of the games femme fatales. The Ame-Comi Skin Pack is $3 and features the Anime influenced caricatures of Wonder Woman, Catwoman and Harley Quinn. The Wonder Woman skin is worth the $3 by itself, as it is absolutely my favorite of hers in the game. The Ame-Comi Skin Pack is available now. Check out all three senoritas in action below:
Injustice: Gods Among Us could be coming to the Vita. If this recent leak from Amazon France is to be believed, a port of this year’s fighter will be available for the Vita later this year. Amazon lists the release date as November 6, but that’s probably a placeholder. The most interesting part about this news is that this would be a Game of the Year Edition, meaning that you’ll most likely receive all of the DLC with your purchase.
The Ratchet and Clank HD Collection was leaked last year via Amazon France, so they’re track record is pretty solid. Amazon France also lists a Game of the Year Edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. If anything becomes of this rumor, we’ll let you know.
