DICE Announces Battlefield 3, MOH LE Owners Get Beta
I like to think I stay up on all things Battlefield, so imagine my surprise when a tweet came across my feed about Medal Of Honor Limited Edition owners being granted access to the beta for Battlefield 3. Wait, what? Battlefield 3? Yes! If you have yet to play a game, any game, in the Battlefield series, you just don't know what you are missing, as the people over at DICE have mastered the art of the first person shooter. Color me excited for this one. No release date has been given, but for now...
Medal Of Honor Music Trailer Featuring Linkin Park
A new trailer has been posted for the upcoming Medal Of Honor reboot featuring Grammy Award winning artists Linkin Park. While the multi-player beta has not been getting the best of reviews (present company included), I am really hopeful that the folks at Danger Close can pull off a really epic campaign. Based on the amount of time and research and attention to detail they have put into this, I have no doubt they will. Check out the video below:

Medal Of Honor Beta Impressions
Finally, after a month of delays, pre-order drama and ridiculousness, the multi-player beta for the reboot of the Medal Of Honor series from EA is downloaded on my harddrive. I have been pretty excited about this game, as it really looks like EA and Danger Close have been going all out to make sure Medal Of Honor reclaims its thrown as the king of the first person shooter. Adding to the excitement is the fact that that the developers from the Battlefield series, DICE, were brought on board to ha...
Medal Of Honor Tier 1 Interview Series Part 3
EA and Danger Close have unveiled the third part of the Tier 1 interview series featuring the soldiers who served as the inspiration for the upcoming reboot of the Medal Of Honor series. If Danger Close doesn't mean anything to you right now, that is because EA also just announced the name for the studio behind the game while showing off their sweet new logo. Check out both the video and logo below:

E3 Day Zero Press Conference Review
So Day Zero has come and gone and it certainly gave us some memorable moments. Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft each took turns in the spotlight, showing off their wares for the world to see. Each company had a different take on the event, with Microsoft and Ubisoft going a bit over the top with a variety of colors, sounds and movements that were really an assault on the senses, while EA seemed to have a much more stripped down approach to the whole ordeal. We followed the press conference...
Medal of Honor Beta live June 21
EA has just revealed that the Multiplayer beta for Medal of honor is going live on June 21. It will be available for 360, PS3 and PC.
EA showed off the online version of the game which is being made by Dice. EA showed of a live 18 player death match on the PS3 version of the game. All we have to say is that it is looking a lot like Call of Duty, but we will wait until we play it later to see if it plays like COD....
Medal Of Honor Offers Fringe Benefits To BFBC2 Owners
Medal Of Honor has a present for everyone currently running around on the battlefield on Bad Company 2: early access to the M-24 sniper rifle. With both titles being published by EA, and with the DICE team pitching in on the multiplayer aspect of Medal Of Honor, the crossover makes sense. Anyone who has signed up for the VIP program on Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the XBox 360, Playstation 3 and PC will automatically unlock the powerful rifle as long as both games are linked to the same EA acco...
Medal Of Honor Coming A Lot Sooner Than We Thought
It was only just recently (around the Spike TV Video Game Awards show) that EA announced Medal of Honor was in the works. Since then, we've learned some significant details, but nothing major. The latest word comes in through an EA conference call that the game will be released in Quarter 2 of their 2011 fiscal year, which is from July to September 2010. It's crazy to think that we could be seeing this game just after E3, but don't hold your breath because the September date more than likely wi...
EA Has The Goods Coming Up With Console Sims and Innovative Madden
I'm already sold. John Riccitiello, CEO of EA, has gone on to broadly date several titles for the coming year. Between April 2010 and March 2011, Riccitiello assures us that we'll see a great new innovative Madden game, the first console version of the Sims for current generation consoles, Dead Space 2, Crysis, MMA, FIFA, Medal of Honor, Need For Speed, and many more titles that still haven't been dated or announced yet.
I held my breath when reading about the "innovative" note on the new Mad...
Bite-sized Pieces of Medal of Honor Information
We already knew a little bit about the new Medal of Honor game coming from EA (like its setting, which looks to be Afghanistan, primarily), but some other small pieces of information have come to light. The latest edition of the Official Xbox Magazine reports the following:
Tier 1 Ops soldiers brought in to help with authenticity – camo, military speak and so on.
Takes place in Afghanistan
You can shoot out lights and use night-vision
There will be multiple playable characters

Medal of Honor Announced, Revealed at VGAs
EA announced that Medal of Honor would be getting a franchise reboot as it makes its way onto the current generation of consoles. The good news is that they have finally broken out of the World War II mold! The game will be a modern war experience (sound familiar?) and will take you through the life of the Tier 1 Operators: a group that handles military directives, objectives, and missions that no other entity can handle.
Executive Producer Greg Goodrich says:
“When we first set out to rei...
