  • Kinect Finally Announced For Us In Europe
    by Khalid
    Posted August 17th, 2010 at 11:33 am
Microsoft are looking to increase and maximise their install base this holiday season with their new add-on platform, Kinnect. What's more important is that they want to have a surge and increase in demand for it, and because of that, they are not going to delay the release in Europe (as it is something that usually happens with hardware). It's slated to be released less than a week after the US get their hands on it, on November 10th, priced at £129....
  • Halo Reach Forge World Vidoc Released, Legendary Edition Gets Unboxed
    by Sledge McCorde
    Posted July 23rd, 2010 at 2:01 pm
The forge mode in Halo has quickly become one of the best parts of diving into the spartan experience. Bungie's not forgotten that, of course, and they're doing everything to ensure Halo Reach's forge features - being called "Forge World" - is the most comprehensive suite of tools that forge users of all kinds have ever seen. What's so remarkable about what they're offering here is you're not just being given a small sandbox in which to create your death chamber. Instead, you're being given a...

One of the biggest weeks of the year for the entertainment industry has finally arrived. That's right folks, I'm talking about San Diego Comic Con, the biggest and baddest Con of them all. The video game industry has a heavy presence at this years convention, and the folks at Microsoft kicked things off with a bang by unveiling the new special edition XBox 360 Slim for Halo: Reach. I can't stand the Halo franchise, but man, this bad boy looks INSANE! The slick design of the new 360 looks awesome...

  • Kinect Stays Up Late with Jimmy Fallon
    by Jason.Joseph
    Posted June 22nd, 2010 at 6:59 am
On the heels of a great E3 presentation, Microsoft decided it was time to give the Kinect some late night shine by bringing to The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon for a live demo. Jimmy Fallon seemed very excited by the whole thing, but some are saying they are noticing a little lag from time to time. Fortunately for Microsoft, I don't think the casual market that watches the Fallon show saw anything but fun. Video after the break: ...
  • 1st and 10: War For Cybertron
    by Jason Belec
    Posted June 20th, 2010 at 10:23 am
With the Transformers movies doing so well in theaters, and the console adaptations lacking so much, it feels good to see a game not based on a movie for a change. Transformers War For Cybertron is a gem of a game and well worth a play through as both the Autobots and the Decpticons. In this episode of 1st and 10, I have put together the first ten minutes of each campaign in these two videos. That's right, two campaigns for the price of one! Check them out and tell us what you think, and of cour...
  • Halo Reach E3 Campaign Trailer
    by Jason.Joseph
    Posted June 19th, 2010 at 11:34 am
One of the biggest unveils this week at E3 was for the Halo Reach campaign. Most of the world has already gotten a taste of the multiplayer experience via the beta, but little has been shown in way of the story we have all come to know and love (or hate). That wait is over, and it looks like Halo has taken the next step in their evolution with Reach: ...

  • E3 Day Zero Press Conference Review
    by Jason.Joseph
    Posted June 15th, 2010 at 8:08 pm
So Day Zero has come and gone and it certainly gave us some memorable moments. Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft each took turns in the spotlight, showing off their wares for the world to see. Each company had a different take on the event, with Microsoft and Ubisoft going a bit over the top with a variety of colors, sounds and movements that were really an assault on the senses, while EA seemed to have a much more stripped down approach to the whole ordeal. We followed the press conference...

With the official opening of E3 2010 being just a mere hours away, I don’t know how hyped I still am after already knowing what will be announced. I mean, all the Microsoft rumors and leaks within the last few hours, and people already talking about what Sony and Nintendo plan to announce.  Will there be enough to wow the gaming community? Microsoft will be showing off Kinetic, formerly known as Project Natal, to the world. One of the biggest announcements by Microsoft is already a year o...

    by Terence Daniel
    Posted May 17th, 2010 at 9:28 am
PS3 software has outsold 360 software in Europe so far this year. The data comes by way of Nintendo's end of year financial results, which show that Nintendo are dominating the software charts all over Europe, but what was also interesting is that the same chart shows that PS3 software is performing better then 360 software. The Top 30 list was gathered by Nintendo from GfK's data for the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium. Although this doesn't represent all Europ...
