  • Analog Hype Presents: NBA Free Agent Frenzy 2010
    by Jason.Joseph
    Posted July 5th, 2010 at 7:20 pm
It has been the topic of every show on ESPN, Fox Sports, CNN, hell I am pretty sure they've even talked about on QVC, Style and Logo (if you don't know what that last one is... Google it). I'm talking about where is Lebron James going? What about DWade and Chris Bosh? Can the Knicks lock down three max guys? Is David Lee or Carlos Boozer a nice conciliation prize? Will Paul Pierce and Dirk Nowitzki stay? What the hell were the Bucks and Hawks thinking giving those deals to Drew Gooden and Joe ...

    by Adrian Pottinger
    Posted February 2nd, 2010 at 11:45 am
The good folks at 2K Sports are definitely ballin' right about now. The 10th edition of NBA 2K has sold over 2 million units world wide. Through all the patches, glitches, and compliments, 2K Sports continues to work hard. Several critics said 2K10 was a copy/paste job of 2K9. We only know one copy/paster and that's Mike A. 2K10 made its place in gaming as the premiere basketball game on consoles. To keep things going, 2k Sports brought back Mike Wang as a producer. The addition of Wang should s...

    by Adrian Pottinger
    Posted January 4th, 2010 at 7:37 pm
NBA 2K10 has been a love / hate game for many. The last patch fixed alot of problems, but there is too many problems going unnoticed. Fortunately for the world, a new patch is on its way in the next few weeks. The patch list is extensive, but still doesn't show a fix for those people not being able to get into pickup games or My Crew games. I hope 2K can tackle that before All Star Weekend. Check out the fixes. GENERAL - When using the Living Roster, users can now play standard Quick Games w...

    Posted October 5th, 2009 at 3:03 pm
"Yo NBA Live.  I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but I'm in NBA 2K10!"  That's what I imagine Kanye West said during an EA press release for their basketball game.  In all seriousness though (well, I am not sure if this even serious at all) here is a list of  MCs and DJs that will be playable in the game: David Banner Big Kuntry(from Grand Hustle Records) Don Cannon (DJ) Slim Thug Wale The Game Pitbull Twista Mims Asher Rother Kingsoul (kkz, sh...
  • NBA 2K10: Draft Combine Review
    by Michael Ajibade
    Posted September 30th, 2009 at 3:26 am
It has been a few years since I have played a basketball video game.   I have always felt that the sport did not translate well into video game form.  The last games I played seriously were 2KSports' college basketball games (rest in peace College Hoops series) and that was purely because of peer pressure from my campus friends.  I had an uncanny urge to give basketball games a try once again.  Enter NBA 2K10: Draft Combine.  This download only game (on Xbox Live and Playstation Network) w...

    by Michael Ajibade
    Posted September 29th, 2009 at 10:27 am
I hope you guys all have insurance...ankle insurance.  NBA 2K10 has a demo that dropped today on Xbox live.  I myself am putting on my chuck taylors (yes I hoop in Chucks and PF Flyers, don't hate) and downloading said demo right now.  I have been playing NBA 2K10: Draft Combine like a fiend (review coming today) and am highly anticipating this game.  For those of our fans that are at work or simply away from their systems you can add the demo download to your queue HERE.  NBA Live 10's dem...
  • NBA 2k10 How Will You Take Over?
    by Adrian Pottinger
    Posted September 16th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
First of all, where all my ballers at?  NBA time is coming people and I hope everyone has been scrimmaging over the summer. NBA 2k10 started off the NBA season early with the Draft Combine. 2k10 presents to all the ballers a video on how your hard work from the summer will pay off. Check out the authentic pregame antics. The presentation is looking crazy in the game! Can't wait to crossover Kobe and Lebron with my boy Dwayne Wade and finish them off with an official Miami "kill ya self" dunk. C...
  • Derrick Rose shows off in new NBA 2K10 trailer
    by Sledge McCorde
    Posted September 9th, 2009 at 11:10 am
The Bulls may not have made it to the NBA Finals this year, but Derrick Rose made enough noise and turned enough heads to get people to see he's the real deal, and that Chicago's 1st overall draft pick did not go to waste. Despite the fact that Kobe is on the cover of this year's NBA 2K10 (#1 can take pride in knowing that he was on the downloadable Draft Combine game), Derrick Rose has turned up in the latest trailer from 2KSports for NBA 2K10. The trailer does its job in not only showing off t...
  • NBA 2K10 “Diverse” Soundtrack Revealed
    by Adrian Pottinger
    Posted September 5th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
NBA 2K9 had one of my favorite in game soundtracks in a long time. With notable songs like 2K Pennies by The Cool Kids , Spaz by N.E.R.D and DJ Unk's In Yo Face, we all thought the tradition of a great soundtrack would continue in the 10th Anniversary edition of NBA 2k10. After seeing the list, I'm not impressed. 2k brought on The Game for an original song called Champion and long list of songs your probably never heard of. Check out the full list and a download link for the soundtrack sampler a...
