These past few months have seen the PlayStation family of platforms become the home of various indie titles from the nostalgia-heavy Retro City Rampage to the simplistic yet amazing Thomas Was Alone as part of an initiative to bring more indie games to the PlayStation Store. Today, the PlayStation Blog has announced that they will be adding an Indie Games category to the PlayStation Store.
This category will now house the indie games that are located on the PlayStation Store, as well as the upcoming titles. To celebrate the launch of this new category, various indie games will be discounted over the coming weeks. Retro City Rampage will be half off this week while the Papo & Yo Bundle will incur a price reduction that will last until the 21st of May. Keep an eye on AnalogHype for the latest on Indie Games on the PlayStation Store.
