So Day Zero has come and gone and it certainly gave us some memorable moments. Microsoft, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft each took turns in the spotlight, showing off their wares for the world to see. Each company had a different take on the event, with Microsoft and Ubisoft going a bit over the top with a variety of colors, sounds and movements that were really an assault on the senses, while EA seemed to have a much more stripped down approach to the whole ordeal. We followed the press conference...

I think Ubisoft just gave me the chills. I am huge fan of the entire Assassin's Creed series, and especially the character Ezio Auditore. When Ubisoft announced they wanted to bring the series into the multi-player arena, I was skeptical. I realize this is simply a cinematic trailer and doesn't show how the whole process will work, and the fact that this is Ubisoft's specialty, but it's hard not to get a just a little excited by what you are about to witness: Update: if this video doesn't...

  • The Demo Experience – Splinter Cell: Conviction
    by Trill Cosby
    Posted March 21st, 2010 at 7:21 pm
In the past week, Ubisoft released a demo for the upcoming blockbuster, Splinter Cell: Conviction. Most of us gamers impatiently lingered until the download progress hit a hundred percent; then we strapped on our spy gear and dove into the shadows. Splinter Cell is one of the greatest series to hit consoles. Personally, the series fits into my Top 10 category – somewhere, have not really thought about it. I, along with many others across the world, have been waiting (and still are) for this ga...

Heavy Rain dropped down to the 4th place spot and breakout hit Just Dance and Alien vs Predator take the #2 and #3 spot. Check out the full list. BATTLEFIELD: B...

    Posted December 11th, 2009 at 11:32 am
The Assassin’s Creed series has become a juggernaut of an IP; it was one of the few games this holiday that weren’t afraid to go up against Modern Warfare: 2. Not only did UbiSoft release Assassin’s Creed 2 (AH review), they also released Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines on PSP.  AC is a series that gamers associate with the PS3 and 360. The two games released so far (ignoring the handheld games) have relied on the processing power of current systems to create massive, sprawling cities, inc...
