Obsidian Announces Project Eternity

One of the huge names in the world of RPG’s has, in less than 24 hours, announced their latest project, put it up for pledge on Kickstarter and received full backing of their one million dollar goal. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as the makers of titles such as Fallout: New Vegas, Dugeon Siege 3, Alpha Protocol, Niverwinter Nights 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and the upcoming South Park: Stick Of Truth have established a solid resume of games of RPG goodness. Project Eternity is the name of their latest venture, and it will be an original IP created by Obsidian. The game looks like it is being developed for the PC and available via Steam. As of this posting, the project has already been funded with almost 30,000 backers and they haven’t even hit day 2.
