America Gets Its First Wii U Commercial
With only 17 days until the Wii U launches in America, we have our first commercial. The commercial you’ll find above, highlights the Wii U’s Gamepad, and really shows us how it’s different from the Wii Remote. Although the ad does hit all the right notes, there’s one thing it fails to do, show the consumer that this is an entirely new product.
The end of the ad shows the Wii U Gamepad and console side-by-side, but the core advertisement should have taken the chance to mention that this is a new console, kind of like the European ad did. Either way, if the pre-order numbers are indicative of the Wii U’s status, then it looks like Nintendo has another hot item on their hands. If you can still find one to pre-order, I’d snatch that up quickly.
