Borderlands 2 Siren Extreme Medic Build
After throwing dozens of hours into my Commando ultimate support build on Borderlands 2, I decided to make the perfect compliment to my support commando or to any co-op party. Introducing the extreme medic Siren build. The Siren extreme medic is skilled in dealing out damage to a large area of enemies and supporting party members with constant health regeneration. The extreme medic build focuses on two key points; crowd control and heal. This is a hybrid build, so we’re going to be dipping into all three of the skill trees. In the Cataclysm tree we want to grab foresight, helios and cloud kill. We want to to max out helios as its a main priority in this build. Helios causes a huge fire explosion when you phaselock an enemy which damages all nearby enemies. Cloud kill adds an acid cloud over an enemy you shot. The acid cloud deals constant corrosive damage to anyone who touches it. The skills from this tree gives Maya the firepower and the effectiveness to fight large group of enemies.
We head to the Motion tree to improve the Siren’s phaselock ability and its effectiveness. The choice between ward and accelerate is a hard one, but if your going for the more damage dealing medic pick accelerate. The extreme medic I’m building will use ward to increase its shield capacity. Max out suspension to add 2.5 seconds to phaselock but by far my favorite skill on the tree has to be converge. Converge augments your phaselock to give it the ability to pull nearby enemies towards your original target and also dishes out some decent damage to them. Converge plus helios will do lots of damage to a large group of enemies at one time and brings them all together into one area for the slaughter. Inertia causes your shield to regenerate fast after a kill, so this really helps to keep you alive. Also invest some points into quicken to increase the phaselock cooldown rate.
The heart of this build is in the Harmony tree. We want to max out the sweet release skill, which provides life orbs to your party after killing an enemy in a phaselock. Restoration increases your maximum health but by shooting your party members, you can heal them. Now pick up elated and when you have an enemy phaselocked, everybody in the party regenerate health. Now the ultimate skill for the siren extreme medic build is res. With phaselock you can revive somebody in fight for your life by using it on them. A single phaselock on an can pull enemies together, create a fire explosion and regenerate health for your party members.
