Developer Walkthrough Explorers The Sandbox of Far Cry 3

I am slowly getting fairly excited for Far Cry 3. I have Far Cry 2 and had a really hard time getting into it, but that doesn’t look like it will be the case this time around. The 14 minutes of gameplay footage below will give everyone a better idea of how big the open world environment is in Far Cry 3. It is said that what you see only represents about 1/20th of the actual open world in the game, and that sounds pretty impressive. The best part of the video, though, isn’t even the gameplay itself. Instead, it is this line, talking about the main protagonist of the story Jason: “Jason hears the call of duty and sees an opportunity for a medal of honor so he heads out into the battlefield to try and resolve the crysis in an uncharted territory and it is kind of the borderland between the series… alright so we’re here at the outpost now…” OK, seriously, how amazing is that? I’m buying the game just for that 20 second clip. Sold! Give those men a promotion, a raise and a pat on the back. Far Cry 3 is in stores December 4th.
