Forza Horizon’s Season Pass Will Set You Back $50
Forza Horizon, the latest entry in the racing simulator series looks to take things to the next level with its open-world environment featuring gorgeous vistas to explore to your delight. It also has a season pass that’s $50.
You read that right, where your season pass typically costs $30, entitling you to a good amount of DLC, Playground Games feels that its content is worth much more.
Included in this $50 season pass are six cars exclusive to season pass owners, six car packs, and a “major expasion” that will be available this December. Playground Games has stated that season pass owners will save 17% compared to those that purchase each piece of downloadable content. That means the DLC itself is about the same price as the game.
In any case, if you plan on picking up the DLC for Forza: Horizon, you’ll be better off buying the season pass, unless you don’t mind paying full price twice to get all of the content in your game.
Forza Horizon will be available for the Xbox 360 on October 23,2012.
