Next Week on PlayStation Plus – Ghost Recon Future Soldier Trial and Two Worlds II GOTY Discount
Next week’s potential PlayStation Plus offerings are rather good so far, if you’re looking for a new RPG or a great multiplayer experience. Next week on PlayStation Plus we have the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier trial as well as a discounted Two Worlds II: Velvet GOTY Edition. Remember, the list below is derived from the PlayStation Blogcast, meaning this isn’t the full update and the items below may or may not be released.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier sees the return of the popular Ghost Recon series, something we haven’t heard from in some time. This entry in the series takes players through multiple locations around the world as they track down the whereabouts of the person who killed the previous Ghost Squadron. Gameplay wise, Future Soldier relies heavily upon teamwork and coordination; that’s not to say working together is an absolute must, but it is highly recommended for multiplayer matches. The singleplayer campaign is rather lengthy, clocking in at around 10-15 hours depending on the difficulty you choose and if you go back through the levels to complete the various challenges. If you’re a fan of the Ghost Recon series, or haven’t maybe you haven’t played it, downloading at least the trial is a must.
Two Worlds 2 is an open-world, action RPG that saw a multiplatform release last year. Story wise, Two Worlds 2 is your typical fantasy RPG, except instead of saving a random princess, it’s your sister. While not velvet, Two Worlds 2′s GOTY Edition includes the original Two Worlds 2, and the ‘Pirates of the Flying Fortress’ expansion pack. The expansion pack adds four new multiplayer maps, a new section to the single-player campaign that adds an extra 10 hours of gameplay. Will the discount make this title finally worth the investment? Well, that’s for you to decide, depending on the price, I’d say that it’s possible. When we do get more information about what this download will include, we’ll be sure to notify you.
