Alleviate Some Anger in ‘Derrick the Deathfin’ Coming to the PlayStation Network
Oh look, another PSN exclusive to brighten up your Summer! This exclusive goes by the name of Derrick the Deathfin. Derrick the Deathfin is a beautifully crafted, paper mache game about Derrick, a shark whose parents were “brutally turned into soup.” Now Derrick travels through 32 varied levels spanning across 4 continents to take out his anger on anything and everything. You’ll find yourself destroying oil structures, killing other sharks, jumping out of the water to eat sea gulls, and so much more! Derrick the Deathfin‘s levels make up the three different game modes. What this means is that each level will either be regular, speed, or disaster oriented.
The regular mode, as stated by Gordon Midwood of Different Tuna (that’s really the developer’s name), are “time pressured” which we assume means you’ll have to race to the finish line before the timer gets to zero. The later two modes weren’t talked about, but we would assume that speed mode is a time attack type mode, while disaster mode has you causing the most destruction.
Derrick the Deathfin and his paper mache self will be available exclusively on the PlayStation Network this Summer.
