Borderlands 2 Gaige The Mechromancer and Deathtrap Gameplay Video

Surprise! Arriving a week early, our little buddy Claptrap has welcomed the latest traveler to the chaos of Pandora, and her name is Gaige. Gaige is a Mechromancer and her special ability is to call upon her trusty pal Deathtrap, a badass floating robot of doom. Originally set to be released on October 16th, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford dropped a bomb in the wee hours of the morning that Gaige was being pushed out a week early. To download her, load up the game and head to the “downloadable content” tab on the main menu page. If you pre-ordered the game, she should be free. If not, she will set  up back 10 bucks (or 800 Microsoft Points). On the fence? My homey Sir Kromius Maximus power leveled my Gaige to a level 12 so we could get some sweet Deathclaw footage for all you Gaige heads. In this 15 minute video, you’ll see all of her customizations, perks and most importantly, Deathclaw slashing the bajeezus out of stuff. Following the Gaige skill tree, it looks like she has some pretty awesome stuff going on and could be quite powerful. Check it out!
