Capcom Announces Remember Me with debut trailer
2013 is shaping up to be an amazing year for gaming. It looks like Capcom has a winner on their hands, and it comes in the form of a new IP called Remember Me. A trailer for the game was unveiled at Gamescon in Germany, and it shows off nearly 8 minutes of awesome. Developer DONTNOD Entertainment was originally developing Remember Me as a Playstation exclusive that would have been called Adrift, but someone at Sony dropped the ball. Their loss looks like it will be all of our gain, as Remember Me. The game takes place in Paris, France in the year 2084 and features a female protagonist named Nilin, who apparently can alter memories. Now I realize we already have Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Syndicate and Binary Domain already out and Watch Dogs to follow, but the whole Cyber Punk thing is OK with me, and Remember Me looks like it will be every bit as solid a title. I can’t wait to see more. For now, we’ll just have to settle for this initial clip. Look for the Remember Me to be released in May of 2013.
