Confirmed: Ghost Recon’s ‘Arctic Strike’ DLC Unlocks Stockade Mode and More

Late last week we reported that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s  DLC would be unlocking on-disc content that Ubisoft tucked away for future use. Now thanks to GameStop, we know which mode we’ll be able to unlock first. Coming this July in the first DLC pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier are the following:

• 3 MP Maps
• 1 new MP Mode “Stockade”
• 1 Guerilla Co-op Map
• 6 Weapons
• Achievements
• Level cap increase of +10

You’ll notice that “Stockade” is one of the three missing game modes we listed in our earlier report. Now that we know when Stockade is coming, what do you think will be next: Takedown or Team Deathmatch? Personally, I’d prefer to see Takedown first just to see what it is, we’ve had enough Team Deathmatch in shooters, that mode can wait.

Although I do detest on-disc DLC, I will be picking up “Arctic Strike” because I enjoyed the beta and would like to get the most out of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier  as possible.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available next Tuesday for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in America, followed by a European release on May 24. The PC version will hit stores a bit later on June 12.
