Green Arrow the latest DC Hero to join Injustice: Gods Among Us

So basically, my brother Eric is about to flip. He’s a huge Green Arrow fan, and when you’re as much of a badass as Oliver North, why wouldn’t you have fans? Not only does the Green Arrow have a new show coming out on the CW (from the makers of Smallville), but he is the latest hero to join the cast of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Like his TV show, his video game self is being handled by the creators of another great and similar franchise, as NetherRealm Studios has made a name for themselves with the reboot of Mortal Kombat. The trailer below portrays Green Arrow as the cocky, arrow slinger we would all expect, though I could have lived without making Solomon Grundy come across as a Hulk ripoff. With that said, I am looking forward to seeing more from Injustice: Gods Among Us. Fighters are not my style of game, but being a huge comic book fan, I may have to give this one a try. Here’s hoping we get to see Deathstroke next!
