UPDATE: Max Payne Makes Its Way To PSN This Tuesday

It seems that the PSN team made a mistake, the original Max Payne will be on the US PSN this evening, not the sequel. To correspond with this change, we have also changed the title of the article.
Max Payne is a man with nothing to lose in the violent, cold urban night. A fugitive undercover cop framed for murder, and now hunted by cops and the mob. Max is a man with his back against the wall, fighting a battle he cannot hope to win.
Max Payne is a relentless story-driven shooter about a man on the edge, fighting for his justice while uncovering plot-twists and twisted thugs in the gritty bowels of New York during the century’s worst blizzard. Using the innovative Bullet Time mechanic, players can slow their sense of time in order to focus shots in intense encounters for deadly accuracy in life-or-death gun duels.
With only two weeks left before the release of one of Rockstar’s most anticipated titles, Max Payne 3, Sony has decided to help those that haven’t had to a chance to experience the series play a little catch up. Coming this Tuesday to PSN is the predecessor to this year’s entry in the Max Payne series, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.
Max Payne 2 features everything you loved about the first title and amps it up, resulting in a better, more cinematic experience that’s sure to capture the hearts of those that purchase it. If you haven’t played Max Payne 2 then now’s your chance, and while you’re at it, go pre-order Max Payne 3, you won’t regret it! If you’re a European resident, although you won’t be receiving Max Payne 2 you will be treated to Max Payne 1 later next month and those of you who are PlayStation Plus members will be happy to know that it’s 100% off!
