Metal Gear Solid Movie Might Not Happen
Who doesn’t love video game based movies? Most of us in the gaming world would love to see a Metal Gear Solid big screen incarnation, but Sony and Hideo Kojima might not let it happen.
David Hayter, voice of Solid Snake has written a script for a Metal Gear Solid movie. Will the movie see the light of day? Well this is what he told MTV
I don’t believe they were ever able to successfully close a deal between Mr. Kojima and Sony. This is all just stuff I’ve heard…there are far larger issues in terms of who’s going to get the rights to do it and what sort of involvement Mr. Kojima is going to have. All that needs to be worked out
So until Kojima and Sony can come to an agreement, your stuck watching Metal Gear cut scenes.

with prince of persia not doing too well and costing over $200 million not including marketing is hollywood game-movie-shy? with the quality shown in the cutscenes of the game, this is one movie i’d actually prefer to see as cg animation rather than live action for my fear is that it will be confused as a gi joe movie clone to the masses.
