PS3 Firmware 4.30 is Live

The newest PlayStation 3 firmware is live. Firmawre 4.30 lets you view trophies that you’ve earned on your Vita on your PlayStation 3.
Sadly enough, it also marks the end of Life with PlayStation, the global weather and news service that allowed you to connect with the outside world by keeping up with various worldly affairs.
This also means the Folding@home service is coming to an end. Sony reports that over 15 million users have helped develop new ways of fighting Alzheimers. It’s sad to see this application get shut down, but all things must come to an end sometime. The firmware is quite small and takes about 6 minutes to download so you can get back to your gaming rather quickly.
