Ratchet & Clank Assaults the PS3 and Vita on November 27

Ratchet & Clank, a franchise that took its roots on the PlayStation 2 and transitioned into this generation with much success is back for another title. Ratchet & Clank’s next outing comes in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, a tower-defense type game that also features the elements of the traditional Ratchet & Clank games. There was a beta earlier this year that showed off how this game would work, and while it was fun, there were some balancing issues that have hopefully been addressed since then. But back to the more important details.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Vita with Cross-Save, Cross-Play, and Cross-Buy support on November 27, 2012. Interestingly enough, this once digital-only title will be receiving a retail release (for the PS3) per request of the many fans that prefer their games to have a physical side to them. Both the retail and digital version will be available for the low price of $19.99. Purchasing the PS3 version will net you a copy of the Vita version as a part of Sony’s “Cross-Buy” program.
