Resident Evil 6 PS3 Game-Breaking Patch Fixed

After downloading Resident Evil 6 from the PlayStation Store, all users were prompted to download a patch.
This patch which added Res-Net among other things, unfortunately broke the PSN download. A temporary fix for this problem was to delete the game and do a fresh install and not download the patch.
Luckily PlayStation Europe has issued a Twitter statement addressing this problem and announcing its apparent fix. Unfortunately you’ll still have to re-download the game.,
