A big part of owning both the Vita and the PlayStation 3 is having the same experience on both platforms. What this means is you can take your game from the PS3 and continue where you left off on the Vita version via Cross-Play. A big mediator in this feature is Sony giving developers the option to make their games require one purchase to acquire both the Vita and PS3 versions. One title to support this feature is Hustle Kings, a pool simulator by Pure Chess developer, Voofoo Studios.

The latest upcoming game to take advantage of this very convenient feature is Retro City Rampage, a game that harkens back to the more simpler times by being a giant homage to classic titles of the past.

This means that if you buy Retro City Rampage on the Vita then you can download it on the PS3 at no extra charge, the same applies for those that purchase on the PS3 first. This added convenience will surely entice some gamers that might have been on the fence to take the plunge by purchasing this title.

What’s even better is that Retro City Rampage supports Cross-Play and Cross-Play with both versions. Now if only we knew Retro City Rampage’s release date…..
