Today on PlayStation Plus 7/3/12 – PSN Summer Sale and New Games
Another week, and another PSN update! Today on PlayStation Plus we have our first rotation for the Instant Game Collection, as well as a brand new PSN Summer Sale! Gotham City Impostors, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, and Renegade Ops have been added into the Instant Game Collection! Take a peak at what’s included in the PSN Summer Sale below!
So what is Gotham City Impostors? Well, GCI is the result of Gotham’s Dark Knight being away for a bit. When Batman’s away, the Jokers come out to play. But of course it wouldn’t be a Batman game without Batman himself right? Well, sorta, you see, Batman’s loyal “fan club” dawns their own cowls, taking up the position as Gotham’s temporary protectors from the mischievous Joker gang. GCI boasts multiplayer-exclusive gameplay, many modes to enjoy, weapons, costomes, and upgrades to unlock, and many upon many levels to achieve. First-person shooter fans, especially fans of the Team Fortress art style will be right at home with this exhilarating game.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX returns to the tried-and-true Pac-Man formula of acquiring as many points as you can before you run out of lives. While this formula might become tiresome after a while, Championship Edition DX amps things up by adding different gameplay modes, visual tweaks, and a good soundtrack. If you’re a fan of Pac-Man, or just a PlayStation Plus user in general, then this game is a must-have.
Finally we have Renegade Ops. Renegade Ops is fun top-down, vehicle-based, twin-stick shooter. Like most twin-stick shooters, almost everything you do will net you a certain amount of points, from blowing up barrels to gaining upgrades, Renegade Ops certainly excels in this department.
