UK PS3 Hardware Sales up 138% Last Week

Last week, Sony introduced the new PS3 Slim to the world. In the UK market saw a 500GB bundle that included FIFA ’13 released. That market alone saw PS3 hardware sales skyrocket a whopping 138%.
The new PS3 Slim – which released Friday – accounted for 38% of those sales in just two days! With such a great value for the amount you’re paying, it’s no wonder hardware sales went up so quickly.
Next week will see the release of the 12GB model for only €229.99, how this will impact next week’s numbers is anybody’s guess at this moment.
