Uncover the Mystery In ‘The Unfinished Swan’ – Coming Soon to PSN

The Unfinished Swan, a game formally announced as a PC exclusive, will be coming to the PSN soon. The newly formed developer Giant Sparrow took to the PS Blog earlier today to announce an exclusive partnership with Sony. This partnership, referred to as an incubation deal, provides Giant Sparrow with the funds needed to complete the game.

For those of you unfamiliar with The Unfinished Swan, it is basically a first-person painting game.Monroe who must find the mysterious swan that has escaped a painting and jumped into a white canvas that serves as the world for this game. Using the PlayStation Move or DualShock 3, players will paint the white canvas that is your world.

Throwing blotches of paint around the area reveals things that otherwise remain unseen. On the surface, this may sound mundane, but this is only the opening portion of the game. Various puzzles and creatures will be revealed as the world is uncovered, ultimately leading to a face-to-face encounter with the King that made this strange realm. Using this tactic, Giant Sparrow is able to tell a story through an artistic medium in the form of The Unfinished Swan.
