Upcoming Dragon Fantasy: Book I Patch Fixes Hit Rate and PS3 Crashes
Following last night’s PlayStation Store update, I picked up Dragon Fantasy: Book I, a game developed by Muteki Corporation. If you weren’t already aware, the game is essentially an homage to 8-bit RPG’s of the past and it’s certainly a good one, but it’s not without a few chinks in its armor. One of the problems that has arisen since its Wednesday release is a bug that crashes the game when you’re playing the PlayStation 3 version. I myself have been spending most of my time in Westeria on my Vita, thus I have yet to encounter this particular bug.
The other problem is the hit rate in the game. With the game’s frequent amount of random encounters, every hit is very crucial since that could be the difference between life and death, and, subsequently, losing half of your gold. Lucky for us, Adam Rippon, the game’s Executive Producer, has addressed both of these problems over on NeoGaf, stating that a patch is being submitted to Sony and they’re aiming to get it out and into the hands of the gamers in “the next couple of days.”
You can expect our review for Dragon Fantasy: Book I in the coming days.
