Quick Launch Update Live for the My Xbox Live App on iOS Devices

An update is now available for the My Xbox Live App on all iOS devices that will allow you to sync your iDevice up with your Xbox 360 for the purposes of quick launching an app or a game. While being able to launch a game from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch may not seem like a very big deal, this serves as the first hands-on experience for the anticipated Microsoft Smart Glass app that will be hitting some time in the near future. I can definitely see a situation where launching an app like Netflix or ESPN would come in handy with the app, but at the end of the day, it is just pretty cool to see the two devices actually talking to each other. The video and pictures below will show you how it is done. The update does not seem to be active on Android devices quite yet, but I wouldn’t really know, as the app does not work on the Nexus 7.

Step 1: Choose “Console Settings” on the “System Settings Tab.”
