Shocking Introduction: The first 40+ Minutes of Dishonored

It looks like Bethesda may have their next hit on their hands. Dishonored is a very unique game that will stand out in a very crowded gaming market. It’s an interesting mix of steam punk meets magic meets stealth meets assassinate the living crap out of people… amongst other things. Ah yes, it is an interesting mix indeed. It is a fantastic new world with a lot of imagination that really reminds me of how I felt the first time I picked up Bioshock. There are some RPG elements to the game, but unlike other Bethesda games like Fallout, Oblivion and Rage, there is no form of level up system via XP or otherwise. It’s a different approach for this type of game, and the only part of the game I am really having a hard time coming to terms with. If I was better at being all stealthy and such, I would probably be super stoked about this, but so far, I think my Borderlands 2 hangover is still in full effect. I definitely plan on giving the game more time, because I can absolutely see why the reviews for this game have been gushing. With that said, the whole purpose of these types of articles is not to take my word for it, but to see it for yourself, so below you will find the first 45 minutes of the game. Dishonored is in stores now for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
