Shocking Introduction: The First Chapter of Darksiders II

Enter the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Amid a turbulent year for THQ, the one shining light at the end of the tunnel for the company has been the highly anticipated release of Darksiders II. Vigil Games has given the entire company reason for hope, and ironically, it is in the form of Death himself. Darksiders II doesn’t exactly pick up where the first one left off, it actually seems to run parallel, as Death is out to redeem his brother War, who may or may not have opened the gates of Hell on Earth in the first game. Thanks to THQ and Vigil Games, I’ve had the chance to mess around with the game for a few days prior to release and I have to say: it is absolutely fantastic. Below you will find the first 30+ minutes of the game, along with a preview of the Best Buy and Amazon.com pre-order bonuses. Look for a full review of the game coming later this week… or don’t wait for me and go buy the game now! Darksiders II is in stores August 14th.
