Splinter Cell: Blacklist Alternate Demo Video
Splinter Cell: Blacklist was one of the surprises of E3 2012 in that I don’t think too many people saw it coming. Sure, it has been a few years since Splinter Cell: Conviction, so ultimately we were due for the next chapter in the Splinter Cell saga, Ubisoft did a decent enough job keeping the game under wraps, especially considering the theme of E3 2012 was to blab about everything before the convention started. During the demo during the Microsoft conference, a demo of the game was shown in which Sam Fischer hit the desert and was infiltrating his way through a terrorist camp somewhere called Mirawa. And alternate version of that same demo has now been posted complete with commentary from Ubisoft Toronto Community Manager Zack Cooper, and in the video, it gives us all an idea of how different approaches can yield different results. Different choices were made as to how Sam would sneak his way through the camp and compared to the choices made during the demo. It’s a pretty cool video, though probably not the new footage fans may be looking for. In any event, the game is set to hit the Xb0x 360, Playstation 3 and PC this Spring 2013.
