The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Officially Announces Hearthfire DLC

So here is one of those DLC add-on’s that could be hit or miss. The second wave of downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been announced today and it is called Hearthfire. What amazing new quests and/or abilities does this add? Well… home building it seems. Yes, you too can get your inner Tim “the Toolman” Taylor on in the heart of Skyrim by purchasing your own land, collecting materials and blue prints and building su casa. But wait, there’s more! Apparently your Skyrim character is in capable of knocking up one of your potentially many wives or for you female players, getting knocked up herself, so you can have the second best thing and adopt! Sarcasm aside, this looks pretty cool, just not quite what I was hoping for. In any event, it will be hitting Xbox Live first on September 4th. It’s only 400 MSP ($5), so it’s not that much of an investment if it suits your fancy. No word on when it will be available on other platforms. Check out the intro video below:
