Yesterday, the world was treated to a wealth of Wii U announcements, the most important of them being the pricing and launch date of the first of the next-generation consoles. The Deluxe Wii U Bundle – which includes the console, controller, console and controller stands, NintendoLand, as well as a deluxe Nintendo membership that nets you 10% back on digital purchases – went up for pre-order shortly after these announcements were made. That bundle is quickly selling out at GameStops around the country.

What does this say about the future for the Wii U? Well, at the moment, it certainly looks like we might have another hot-selling Nintendo console on our hands.
