Ubisoft on Rayman Legends: “Single-player is played mostly with Murphy the flying frog.”
In a recent interview, conducted by NintendoWorldReport, quite a bit of new Rayman Legends interview was revealed. For those of you that don’t know, Rayman Legends is the Wii U-exclusive sequel to Rayman Origins. The information detailed in the video – as well as the video itself – can be found down below.
- The final game will be compatible with five players; four on a combination of controllers while one will use the Wii U GamePad.
- Playing Legends alone will offer a new experience for the player; you’re restricted to playing “a good portion ”of the game as Murphy – the flying frog you see in all of the videos – aiding an AI-controlled Rayman throughout the level.
- There are classic levels that offer the player a chance to play as Rayman himself.
- The first level of the game acts as a tutorial level, teaching the player how to play as Murphy.
