Halo Reach Pushes Gears of War 3 to April 2011

2010 April 9
by Terence Daniel

Looks like Microsoft have leaked the info on Gears 3 by mistake. Gears 3 has been spotted on the Xbox dash-board

The outing has also apparently confirmed the game for an April 2011 release, as previously reported, with the title set to “conclude” the story that started four years ago.

So it looks like the rumours are true,  but is this the right release date for Gears 3, Gears of War has always been released in the month of November, but for the first time in the series the game is getting a spring release. Without the holiday season boost the game is used too will it effect sales?

Halo Reach Pushes Gears of War 3 to April 2011

It is clear that Gear of War 3 will not be released this year due to the fact that their is an Halo game coming out this fall. Both Halo and Gears are online shooters that compete for the top spot on Xbox Live, so it is only right for both games to give each other breathing space in the online area.

Yep, game is going to be sick, Epic have been talking how they have looked at other shooters since Gears 2, and are looking to change things up.
