Ragnarok Odyssey’s Launch Trailer is Here
Later today, Vita users will be able to download their copy of Ragnarok Odyssey, that’s if they haven’t already picked up their physical copy at a local retailer. What’s Ragnarok Odyssey you ask? Well, first off, shame on you for not knowing what it is. Second, imagine Monster Hunter on the Vita, and you’ve basically got Ragnarok Odyssey!
In Ragnarok Odyssey, you’ll encounter hordes of enemies, dozens of quests, and plenty of chapters to go through on your journey. Ragnarok Odyssey is an action-adventure, RPG with a heavy emphasis on high-flying combat. This means most of your time fighting monster will be spent in the air. You see, you start on the ground, and when given the opportune moment, hit them into the air to continue your rather lengthy combo followed by a powerful blow that will send that enemy crashing into the earth below.
You’ll encounter bosses of varying sizes – some are huge – each possessing a weak point to be taken advantage of. If this sounds too hard for you, no worries, three friends can tag along with you through ad-hoc or infrastructure multiplayer! There is one key limitation to multiplayer though, quests are only available up to the lowest persons’ chapter. So if you’re on chapter 2 and your friends who are with you are on higher chapters in the storyline, your party will only be able to tackle quests up to chapter 2. This means you’ll have to work as a team to combat the more difficult monsters so you can all be on the same level.
